How to play it
Opening. Kadabra, Vaporeon are cheap and in the final board, so buy them early and play the Psychic and Water synergy from the start. Pick up components for the carry's items as they drop.
Leveling. Level to 8 and refresh for the Mew, Staryu, Lapras. At level 8 the shop shows 4-costs in 26% of slots and 5-costs in 6%.
Items. Exeggutor wants 2× Quick Claw (Calcium + Carbos), Focus Sash (HP Up + Carbos). Until you find it, put the same items on Kadabra, which uses the same stat, and move them with a Magnet later. Tank items (Leftovers, Focus Sash) go on the front-row Pokémon with the most HP.
Positioning. Dewgong in the front row, Exeggutor in a back corner where fewer attacks reach it. Check the enemy board before each fight and move the carry away from their biggest area attacks.
Matchups. Strong against Water Vaporeon Reroll (94%) and Psychic Vaporeon (81%). Struggles against Grass Kadabra Reroll (0%) and Electric Raichu Reroll (0%).
