Kanto Tactics campaign walkthrough
The Campaign is 38 stops from Route 2 to the Champion, plus a secret fight in Cerulean Cave. Below is every team each stop can throw at you on Normal difficulty, read from the game: most trainers have two or three versions of their team, and Blue's team depends on the starter you picked.
Jump to: Brock · Misty · Lt. Surge · Erika · Koga · Sabrina · Blaine · Giovanni · Lorelei · Bruno · Agatha · Lance · Blue · Mewtwo
Rules
- You start with 100 HP. A loss costs the section base (route stops: 0) plus 1/2/3 per enemy left standing by star (+1 if it costs 4–5). Until badge 5, a loss never drops you below 10 HP.
- Gold: 5 per stop, plus interest (+1 per 10 gold, up to +4) and +1 for 2 wins in a row. On a loss you are paid in full the first time; on retries you get 5 × the share of enemy HP you took, without interest.
- Refresh costs 2 gold; buying 4 XP costs 4 gold. The shop refresh is free every stop.
- Beat the campaign (defeat Mewtwo) to unlock Trainer difficulty and Pikachu as a starter; fill half the Pokédex to unlock Eevee.
